Whitney was raised in Allen, Texas where from a younger age she realized she had a ardour for not only art, but the position that educators and mentors play in student’s lives. She knew she wished to cultivate a classroom where individuality and inclusivity had been encouraged while students learned to discover totally different media and converse about art. To achieve this dream, she attended Utah Valley University the place she earned a degree in Secondary Art Education. She has now been hired by the Nebo School District to work as a Visual Arts instructor for Spanish Fork High School. She appears ahead to the years to come back of helping college students discover their identities, be taught to actually communicate with their friends and specific their view of and thoughts about the world via their art.
